Cloud Computing in a Nutshell

Web 2.0 is over.

I’ve been working on revamping our Cascadia’s 2009 Internet Book and will post it here as soon as it’s viewer ready, however, we’ve had a lot of internal debate on what the future of the Internet is and what trends will prevail and what type of companies will succeed.

For me, one of the most undeniable trends that we must address is Cloud Computing.  The overall cloud computing product in the market isn’t where it needs to be (as evidenced by Amazon’s massive S3 outage last year and Salesforce.com’s outage earlier this year) but with all the major hardware, Internet and software players getting into the game, I believe that it will be soon.
